Flutter, a UI toolkit developed by Google, allows kids to build visually appealing and interactive apps for multiple platforms from a single codebase. This module covers an introduction to Flutter and its installation, explores basic and core widgets, dives deep into form widgets, and concludes with hands-on projects like building a calculator app and custom forms. Key learning objectives are include programing fundamentals (i.e. logical thinking, loops, and conditions), app development (i.e. building UIs, handling input, and animations), game development (i.e. creating engaging and interactive games), creativity and problem solving.

This course introduces students to the exciting world of programming using the Python language. Students will gain a basic understanding of Python and enhance their critical thinking and problem-solving skills as they learn to design, code, and debug Python programs. Assignments during the course encourage them to master important programming concepts such as variables, operators, and control flow constructs. Students will use their creativity and imagination to draw different shapes on the computer screen and work with Turtle Graphics. No prior programming experience is required. Intended for Grades 7-12.
